Steve Carell made the big decision to take his appetite elsewhere and in this case, he decided, at the expense of Chili’s, he was going to go with Outback Steakhouse. In the end, it was the Bloomin’ Onion which sold Carell. This was just one of the many blockbuster moments in the 2010 ESPY’s – ESPN’s annual award show for the greatest moments in, well, mostly sports. NFL QB Drew Brees and USA Olympic skier Lindsay Vonn took home the awards for best male and female athletes. The most intriguing awards went to John Isner, for his record-breaking tennis match against France’s Nicolas Mahut at Wimbledon, Landon Donovan for his last-minute goal to defeat Algeria at the World Cup last month and Canada’s win over the USA in the gold medal game at the Olympics in Vancouver.

Paul the Octopus made a brief appearance and made some last-minute predictions which were evidently taped before his retirement.
